The Widest Cargo Delivered — 6.30 Meters!

25.05.25

An international oversized cargo transportation with a width of 6.3 meters has been completed!

M-GROUP KZ has successfully carried out a highly complex logistics project — the international delivery of oversized cargo, with a width of 6.3 meters. This far exceeds the standard width of a single traffic lane (usually 3.5 m), requiring not only technical preparation but also the highest level of organizational expertise.

    **What made this transportation challenging?**

    • A width of 6.3 meters effectively blocks more than one traffic lane, making travel on most roads potentially hazardous for both the transport vehicle and surrounding traffic.
    • To ensure safe and uninterrupted movement of the trailer convoy, our team had to:

      • Develop a detailed route plan, including an inspection of every kilometer of the path — from turning radii and tunnel widths to bridge heights, gradients, and shoulder widths.
      • Provide vehicular escort with cover vehicles, including patrol cars and logistics coordinators managing every stage in real time.
      • Coordinate the journey with transport inspections and road authorities in several countries. This involved obtaining special permits, restricting general traffic on certain segments, and organizing temporary time windows for the convoy to pass through.

The result — the cargo was delivered precisely on time, without the slightest delay or violation.
This was made possible thanks to the meticulous route planning, high qualifications of our team, and continuous coordination with regulatory authorities at every stage.

We continue to uphold our reputation as a reliable international oversized cargo operator, capable of handling projects of any complexity.
